MCCEI Construction Career Day:
Introducing Young People to
Exciting Possibilities in Construction

On April 29, 2025, Aggtrans and The Stone Store proudly participated in the MCCEI Construction Career Day, showcasing career opportunities within the construction industry. The event was held at the Bowie Baysox Baseball Stadium in Bowie, MD. Our exhibit featured a front-end loader and dump truck, simulating material loading to highlight the importance of heavy equipment operation and truck driving in our industry.
The event hosted up to 1,000 middle and high school students, providing them with valuable exposure to the diverse careers available in construction. This was an excellent opportunity not only to support our industry but also to show students the wide range of jobs that contribute to the success of companies like ours and many others in the industry.
It's also worth mentioning the great work from our marketing team for creating and developing the concept for the exhibit, which was a big hit. Special thanks to Kevin, who manned the booth all day, answering questions from the eager group of students, and to Glenn for his continued support.
Supporting events like this is vital for the future of our industry, and I'm proud that we're able to give back by introducing young people to the exciting possibilities in construction. It's events like these that truly highlight the talent within our industry and the hardworking individuals behind the scenes (you all!).
